Great place to work. I enjoyed working at the casino. They have great benefits great pay great people. But they worker harder on providing transportation for people who need it. Maryland Live Casino is a casino where many of its managers have professional ethics.

They value the good employee and take care of them. They have benefits like the medical plan, perfect attendance bonuses, growth opportunity.

They carry out motivational activities where the employee participates and can earn money or products such as television, food in some of their restaurants and many more things.

Very fun place to work at people per shift a lot of time members everyday something new was happening in your department. A bit on the clique' side. Friendly, but there was definitely a "favorite" mentality. I enjoyed my time there, but was also a bit of a relief to move on.

Not the cleanest casino. I dont like the point system. Management was hard to locate when needed. Any complaints were deligated from one person down the line til it was swept under the carpet. Face pace busy work environment. My overall review of Maryland live would be very fast paced environment busy. I worked in the cage unfortunately the cage was very unorganized we were always short staff due to the high turnover rate the supervisors are inexperienced and lack professionalism.

A typical day really depends on with what i was assigned to do for that day. I learned how to work with people and be around guest with different cultures and backgrounds. The management were courteous and respected my ideas and concerns. The absurdity is fun, for a time. Worked as a marketing rep at MD Live for over a year. It was the first job that got me interested in my path of production and live music.

However I was unable to advance myself in that field while working there. I also do not believe that I was fairly compensated for the extra work that I was asked to do in my role, such as become the house emcee.

The guests were typically fun to interact with, but as my tenure moved on I began to see the effects of gambling addiction up close and the impact it has on people's lives.

At that moment I started to lose faith in the job and question what I was doing. I loved working there. I loved working for them and outside of the schedule I have never worked for a job where I loved every single co worker and every single manager and supervisor I ever had. The care about you and are genuinely concerned with your well being and your success.

I highly recommend this company. As previous reviews have said this can be a fun place to work depending on your position and how well liked you are. Management shows favoritism and inexperienced.

Very rarely have a weekend off. They think your life should revolve around the job. Only work here if looking for an in between job. HR is a joke and waste of breath complaining to them. The men around here objectify women tremendously. I can not wait to get another job!

Plain and simple, don't work here. The patrons that spend a lot of money in the casino could get away with murder and Live! Everyone here hates working here which makes you hate working here. High employee turnover rate. The only reason Job Security is 3 stars is because they cant keep people around. If you want to stay, they'll need you. Save yourself the stress and just don't work here. Fun place to work.

But its a busy day all day. Its a fun place to work. You can see some crazy stuff.

But if your looking for a company that looks out for you and has your back, this is not the company for you. Great job, fun place to work at. Employees are great to work with and the environment is nice.

Everyone down to the management are great, I would love to work there again. Fun but suffers bad management. There was a lot of favoritism between management and certain employees. People seemed to be treated better than others and we were in the same department.

There also was no organization within departments and it seemed that they were more focused on money rather than the well being of their employees. Other than that, it was an OK experience being employed, and benefits were good. Great place to work with plenty of growth opportunities.

Casino is a great place to work. There is a lot of room to grow with this company. They have great benefits and they have outostanding insentives for their empoyees. Fast paced and a great environment. Great place to grow and move up in the company. Great for place quick cash. Overall a wonderful place to work. Previous ownership was a Hilton Property, vast difference once casino owned. Growing company competing with surrounding casinos. Company not in a position to compete with salaries with completion.

Hotel employees are not receiving a monthly incentive for doing good work. Company uses a point system for attendance even if you are sick or not, not employee focused. Hotel Front Desk Managers works with personal planned scheduledtime off. During the weekdays it's usually slow-paced, but during nights, weekends, and holidays very fun and energetic! Some Co workwers, food and benefits are all good, but the working hours really affected my daily life When I started everything was fine but after some bad apples got added to the call center everything went down hill.

Went to HR over threats and harassing Behavior and was basically told it wasn't their problem and to deal with it on my personal time. Spoke to my supervisor and director about it and was constantly told they would have a talk with them and do something but they always put it off and never resolved anything.

The only way Maryland Live casino will get involved with any issue any employee is having is if you threaten to sue.

Only position I'd recommend applying for is table games dealer or Maryland Live Average Pit Boss Casino Salary dealer anything other departments than that they treat like trash. Females be warned, almost every guy will hit on you and harass you and even if you go to HR they won't do anything about it unless it gets physical. Customer Best Online Casino Camping Sites In Indiana position was moved off site to live Lofts, no longer have access to EDR, management and HR is a joke.

  2. There are not any perks to being a black card member at Live unless I play $ a hand or similar to be at executive tier. I do not know the salary level here in mo. In the US do people only tip dealers when they win or are they supposed to every time they play somewhere? If someone has a bad run of cards they ain't gonna want to tip. Originally Posted by Xavier. The tournaments here in NY, we have a dealer bonus buy. I don't think it's just Mountaineer's rule, but I believe that WVa State Gaming regulations prohibits dealers from playing at the casinos where they work. I've seen dealers from Wheeling playing at Mountaineer and I believe they said that they couldn't play at Wheeling.

Frankly, I think it's a good rule. It prohibits any possibility of collusion between an on-duty dealer and their fellow dealer who's off work, but playing at their table Another good thing Ranger is as a dealer you don't want to play against those who may be tipping you later. If you put a bad beat on them or just constantly beat them because they are poor players, you may not get tipped later.

And that can cost you alot more down the road than the little bit you can win off of them if they are a regular or happen to win a tournament or badbeat jackpot. Depends on the casino. I personally avg hands per hr. Tournament downs which is every half hr we get 7. So if I only dealt tournaments which would suck I was a walk on to dealing poker because I was a true grinder before dealing. Usually u have to go threw the unpaid casinos classes which is weeks of hrs per week. Then PASS the audition.
